I got this story from my roommate who works as a home health nurse.
She has a patient who is needy as can be. Each time she gave her a visit, she would have a long list of demands and “chores” for her to do.
One day, an unfortunate turn of events happened and she contracted some kind of a stomach virus which made her a daily patient for quite some time. My roommate was assigned to her for a week or so.
One morning during one of her visits, she sat on her recliner with a garbage bin in hand. Her face looked greenish from being sick to her stomach.
“Are you okay?” asked my roommate.
“Oh heck no! That doctor will have to do something about those f’in pills he gave me. They were horrible! They are too big and looks impossible for me to swallow. I have to cut them in half. And when I do, they are slimy and absolutely disgusting to swallow. They make me gag the whole time. I hate them!”, she said.
When my roommate looked at the “pills” ,she realized that they were glycerin suppositories! They’re supposed to go in the other end! I was laughing the whole time she was sharing this story! 😀
