I was working at a small private hospital that also had an outpatient clinic.
One day I got a specimen for a post vasectomy test. When I looked at the slide, my jaw dropped!
There were so many sperm just actively swimming around. The patient was sitting outside the lab so I confirmed that he had had the surgery – he had.
I filled out the chart and sent him back to the clinic. I found out later that he had had the surgery 4 months ago and hadn’t got the 6 week check. His wife was now pregnant and he was about ready to file for divorce since he figured she must have had an affair.
Nope, he was responsible in more ways than one!
