I worked in a small hospital & we had to process outpatients many years ago.
I took the paperwork from the man & read the doc’s orders for sperm check following a vasectomy. I was embarrassed already to hand him the urine cup to use.
Then of all things, the man asked me what he was to do???
At that point l went into my director’s office & said he needed to handle the situation. The doctor sure could have told the man what test & why & saved everyone’s dignity.
