Years ago when I worked at a trauma center during the night shift, I had to go to ER and draw some blood on a lady. When I was done, she asked me where her boyfriend was.
I didn’t know so as I was leaving trying to get back to the lab, there was this double amputee on a skateboard trying to keep me from passing thru by going back and forth in front of me, kinda egging me on to try to get by him while using his hands to push the skateboard.
I couldn’t believe this guy. I’m 5’0” and at one time he must have been a large, tall man, but at best he was no taller than 3-4’.
I finally took the bait and passed him going to the lab. I called ER about the incident, and they told me he was the lady’s boyfriend I drew blood on, and he’s been doing the same thing to others. His girlfriend was upset with him goofing around and took the skateboard away from him and he had to sit on her bed. I guess she carried him around on her hip as if he was her kid.
