Had a nurse hand carry tubes down holding the bag with both hands and telling me to be very gentle with them.
I laughed, and she said “You think I’m joking but the doctor specifically said to be gentle with the specimens because he didn’t want them hemolyzed. The last tubes drawn had an elevated potassium and he was hoping it was an error”…
I laughed harder. I guess I can’t centrifuge them then? 🤣
