I’ve worked in the laboratory profession when mouth pipetting was still the norm. Yes I’m old!
I was casually chatting with a coworker who happens to be performing a sperm count on a semen sample at the time. Right when she starts pipetting, I said something funny that caused her to accidentally suck in a little bit of the sample!
Her face turned beet red and she immediately ran to the nearest sink and rinsed her mouth with several mouthfuls of water. I felt bad for laughing hard but I just can’t help myself.
