I have to draw blood from an 8 year old kid who was obviously very scared of needles.
Both his mom and dad have to hold him down because he is determined to not get poked. He was thrashing around until dad finally had a nice grip on his arm.
“Here’s my chance!” I said to myself. I went ahead and try to do the deed until he gave me a massive kick to my groin! I just want to scream, cry, and roll on the floor in excruciating agony!
I did my best to keep my composure and excuse myself. Needless to say a coworker has to help me out as I could not even stand up straight!
The pain we endure doing our jobs! I just think back and laugh at the day when I had my worst nutcracker moment and lived
