A patient came in for blood typing for a possible blood donation.
According to the patient, this was going to be his second time donating blood. He also told me it’s been a while since he last donated blood.
So I asked the patient if he remembers his blood type. He answered me with certainty that he is Type AB.
He then added “but I’m just not sure which ARM is A or B”!? ? ?
