I have been in the healthcare field for over two decades and have amassed a wealth of experience. My milestones include but are not limited to owning and operating a Mobile Phlebotomy Company and Patient Draw Center. (Lab Team Assistants, LLC)

I also teach and educate those interested in becoming a Certified Phlebotomist, I have been training individuals for fourteen years.

Phlebotomy is a very important part of healthcare, and a deep-rooted desire to render to the laboratory its due credit was the start of my writing career.

Here is Wynnie. We welcomed Wynnie to our family when she was only two weeks old. I remember my son just fell in love. I was a bit hesitant about having a pet but Wynnie was so different. She has become the joy of the family. She is very smart and has also changed my perception of having a pet.

Now that she is older, I am finding her just wanting to sleep in my room on the floor. She loves just being under me, and I don’t mind it.

We did have a scare last summer. She chased a squirrel into the back and before we could grab her, she was off into the pond. We didn’t realize it was a pond in the backyard. Wynnie fell into the pond and swam across. We were calling her name and even the neighbors were looking for her. Suddenly I drove onto the main street. My nine year old son and I called out to her and behold here comes Wynnie running fast! She had passed us up and didn’t notice us. She ran all the way home and waited in the yard for us to come.

I knew I was in love. We cried before we found her and were just so sad because we couldn’t imagine being without her.

Wynnie will be two years old in May, the same month my oldest son is born.

My dog did that to me last year. I felt so scared because a friend of mine lost her pet that way. I’m glad Wynnie is okay!

Amazing article. I love your passion and how you grow awareness with kiddos. Keep up the good work 👍🏻👏🏻

I love your passion for the profession. Shaping young minds towards a greater understanding of what we do as lab professionals and the impact we have on modern healthcare. Love the books too! And of course your costar, Wynnie, is the cutest ever! May you have wonderful adventures together! Thanks for sharing your story ❤️
