Vitros XT 7600

QC for Vitros XT 7600
Bio-Rad
Fisher MAS QC Products
Others (please comment the brand)

We’re getting this analyzer soon. What QC materials are you using for this analyzer? I know about Bio-Rad QCs. But are there any other manufacturers? If so, are they any good?

Biorad QCs worked really well for us.  You just have to plan ahead of time which controls you're going to buy based on your test menu

Following.  I want to know more about the Vitros 7600 as well.  Most sites I know are using various Biorad controls.

@ferdierodriguez Your original post was a few months old.  Did you purchase the Vitros 7600?  If yes, which controls are you guys using?

Yes, we now have Vitros XT 7600. I love it! We’re still in the training period, but so far, it’s great. I love doing the maintenance! 🤓

As for the controls, I decided to use the MAS from Fisher. I didn’t want to combine different manufacturers because that means, I would have to submit qc data to 2 or more different programs for peer group report. I want it simple, so I chose one manufacturer. Plus, they gave me good pricing.

Are those the controls that allows the Vitros 7600 to send QC data through e-connectivity automatically for a peer group analysis?  We're planning to get them too.  How do you like them so far?

We're due for a CLIA inspection in a couple months.  We'll do the switch after this inspection.
