Typical Overall Cost
Quote from Ferdie Rodriguez on June 20, 2022, 10:41 pmI was lucky enough to get a job here in the US through direct hire about 13 years ago. I’m just wondering, how much does it cost now typically (overall cost) to get a job placement here in the US from the Philippines using an agent or agency?

Quote from Ian on June 21, 2022, 7:01 amCost for me was $6500 but that was 18 years ago. Time flies when you’re having fun in the lab 🤪
It cost my hospital $1000 to expedite processing.

Quote from BloodyMary on June 21, 2022, 9:27 pmI believe it costs between 6K to 10K now for agents. As for using agencies, it's minimal cost but you will be contracted for at least 3years i think and you will have a fixed rate while the agency gets a cut of your pay.

Quote from IGNICENTAURI on June 22, 2022, 12:29 pmI heard from my friends that Cora Sanders charges around $3000+ for the processing and the reviews are positive. Unlike Personnel International who charges triple and has negative reviews all over.

Who is this Cora Sanders? Is she a Philippine based staffing agency? Is that the cost for the candidates? TIA

Quote from IGNICENTAURI on June 22, 2022, 6:21 pmHi JenJen,
She's based in Florida. I believe she's been operating for two decades now and has built a high reputation in the MLS field in the US. I know a few batchmates that were under her. But I can't promise you that that's the exact rate for their service.
IgniC.

Quote from bugsbunny123 on June 22, 2022, 9:30 pmI paid approximately $10,500 in mine, I was under personnel international usa under romel and I can say my experience was traumatic. I had friends who paid even more under him. So many additional hidden fees that you don't have a choice but to pay since you’re half way there. Well im thankful that they got me here but i was also disappointed upon hearing that other agencies were better and cheaper. So please avoid that agency while you can. Just a friendly advice 🙂

Quote from Ian on June 22, 2022, 10:02 pm@bugsbunny123 wow that’s awful 😩especially that fact that they’re probably getting paid by the hospital too. That’s crazy that there isn’t a set payment for candidates. I mean they’ll probably charge more if the candidate is able to pay more…
Well, glad you’re here now. 😊
