Lowest Hemoglobin You've Seen

What's the lowest hemoglobin you've seen? Mine was 2.8 g/dL! Patient was still alive, and he actually survived.

3.5 g/dl.  The patient is only in her early 20's and has lupus.  She is amazingly still functional even at such low numbers.  crazy!

Wow I thought 4.1 Hgb was pretty low already 😒

Lowest hemoglobin I've seen was from a 40 year old female who had gastric bypass and ended up being severely iron deficient. Hgb is 3.9 g/dl

Holy cow!  That's some crazy number!  The patient have to be an older person who barely have any physical activity.  I can just imagine how much strain the heart is going through.
