Hello.  We got the formula from LabCE but unfortunately, I can&#039;t find a quotation of their source.  We used the same formula in the previous lab I worked in.  As stated on their website, some labs use 20000 as their multiplier.  I believe the multiplier is established per laboratory depending on how close the estimates are compared to automated methods.
